How your services, towns and emergency calls work in your Space
At 10 p.m. nobody types "plumber" and stops there. They type what's wrong: "no hot water", "clogged drain", "leaking water heater", "burst pipe". A section for each job you do, saying what you fix, how fast you come and what it usually involves, is the section that answers them, and the one that gets the call.
Then the towns. A section for each area you drive to, with jobs you've done there, tells people you'll come to them before they even ask. It also gives search engines a reason to show you for "plumber in" that town, not only in the city you're based in.
If you take emergency calls, say it in big letters, with your hours and whether nights and weekends cost more. Someone with water on the floor doesn't read paragraphs; they look for one word and one number. If you don't take them, say that too, and skip the 2 a.m. calls.
The rest is trust: licensed and insured, how long you've been at it, a link to your Google reviews and a few photos of tidy work. Put it in every section, because a stranger is about to let you into their home.

What plumbers ask us
I'm under a sink all day. Who answers my plumbing Space?
Nobody has to. Customers call you or send a request through your Space. Requests come by email, with the address and a photo of the problem, so you can call back between jobs.
Can my Space say which jobs I don't take, and when I don't answer?
Yes, and it should. No gas fitting, no new construction, no calls after 9 p.m.? We put it in your Space, so you get fewer calls you'd have to turn down.
I never take photos of my jobs. Is that a problem?
No. We can start with photos of you, your van and your work area. Later, snap a before and after when a job turns out well and add it from your phone.
I already have a Google listing and a Facebook page. Why a Space too?
Keep them, they help people find you. Your Space is where they all lead: your services, every town you cover, your photos and a request form, in one Space that's only about you.
What if I don't like the preview?
Tell us what's wrong in plain words. We make the changes, up to two rounds. If it still isn't right, say no, tell us why, and you pay nothing.
Can I put my prices in my Space?
Yes, if you want to. A call-out fee or a starting price for common jobs filters out the people who were only shopping around.
I only need a digital business card. Do you do that?
Yes, that’s Identity Space: one screen with your photo, your buttons and a QR code, for $199 a year. All you need is a phone. Plenty of plumbers start there and move up to a Showcase Space.
When do I pay, and what isn't included?
Only after you say yes to your preview: $299 a year from then. The preview costs nothing. Not included: your own domain name (like yourplumbing.com), which is bought separately.
My van already has a QR code. Can you change where it goes?
Only if it's one of our codes. A code from another service can only be changed by whoever made it. So an old code gets replaced once with one of ours, and after that we can change where it points without a new sticker.
Will a Space get me to the top of "plumber near me"?
Nobody can honestly promise that. We make your Space so search engines can clearly read your services, towns and contact details. Where you show up also depends on your Google listing and on the plumbers near you.
