The short answer

What should a restaurant or cafe website have?

Nobody visits a restaurant website to read about your passion for food. They're hungry, often standing on the sidewalk, and they want the menu, the prices, the hours and how to get there. Your page puts those on the first screen, readable with one thumb.

Then it does the tempting. A few real photos of your dishes and your room. What you're known for. Whether you do takeout, catering or private parties. And if you take reservations, a way to book a table without calling during the dinner rush.

Stuck with a PDF menu that nobody can read on a phone? This is the fix. One scan at the table, and the menu opens like a page, not a file.

Before we build it

What goes on your restaurant page

Send us your menu, your hours and some photos. We'll handle the rest.

  1. The menu, as text

Typed out, not a photo of a printed menu. It reads well on a phone and search engines can see it.

  2. Prices

Even approximate. People hate surprises at the bill.

  3. Hours and holidays

Including when the kitchen closes, not just the doors.

  4. Where to find you

Address, parking, entrance and a map link.

  5. Real photos

Your dishes and your room, in natural light. Phone photos work.

  6. Takeout, delivery, catering

Which ones you do and how to order or ask.

  7. Allergy info

A line about how you handle allergies, and who to ask.

QR codes at the table

Every plan includes your QR code, ready to print. On the Business Showcase, make as many as you like, one per table or window, and see which get scanned.

Delivery apps

Good forTaking delivery orders without your own drivers.

Where they all point

Your own page

Your menu, hours, photos and a way to call or book, always up to date and under your name. Your tables, your window and your Google profile can all point here.

Before you ask

What restaurants and cafes ask us

Can I change the menu myself?

On the Business Showcase and the Video Hub, yes, from your phone with the QRaway app. Prices go up, the special changes, you update it.

Can people book a table online?

On the Business Showcase, yes. They pick a time and the booking comes to your email. On the Digital Business Card, they call or send a request.

Do I need a different QR code for every table?

No. One code works on every table. On the Business Showcase you can make more, say one for tables and one for the window, and see which gets scanned.

Can I show the menu on a TV behind the counter?

Yes. Menu boards and video walls on any TV with a web browser are part of the Video Hub.

Can I take online orders?

Not as a full ordering system. Your page can link to the ordering or delivery service you already use. Payments through PayPal, for things like catering deposits, are in the Video Hub.
