F-One MotorsportFrom Formula 1 to a multi-series motorsport portal

F-One Motorsport (2003) expanded the original F-One project into a multi-series racing portal with databases, news, and community features that continue to run today.

From Formula 1 to a multi-series motorsport portal

In 2003, we evolved F-One from a Formula 1-only site into a multi-series motorsport portal.

The project expanded its scope to cover five major racing series: Formula 1, IndyCar, CART, NASCAR, and MotoGP, with restructured databases and new interactive features.

Core features of F-One Motorsport

  • 📊 Reworked and refactored database supporting multiple racing series.

  • 🏎️ Dedicated pages for drivers, teams, calendars, schedules, and results.

  • 📰 News and editorial content contributed by a team of authors.

  • 💬 Active community features: forum, chat, and photo gallery.

  • 🎯 Unique fan engagement: the F-One prediction contest.

Why it mattered

The 2003 version of F-One marked its transformation into a comprehensive motorsport hub — combining statistics, news, and community interaction.

Over the years, the project evolved under different names and expanded its scope, but the platform itself has been running continuously for 26 years.

This long life demonstrates not only technical stability, but also the ability to adapt and grow with its audience.
