A business card website with user registration

In 2000, we built a website for Prof.Lab.Inc, a small programming company offering both system and online development services.

Although its primary role was to act as a simple business card site with a service overview, it also included extended functionality.

Key details of Prof.Lab.Inc

🖥️ Business card website listing programming services.
🗂️ User registration based on a simple database.
📂 Section for downloading ready-made shareware applications.
📨 Contact and order forms for potential clients.
⏳ The site was active for about a year.

Significance

Prof.Lab.Inc was a straightforward commission — essentially a “skin” we provided for the client’s needs.

Still, it demonstrated how even early business card websites could integrate user registration and product distribution, features that later became standard in corporate web presence.
