EuropostAn international subscription service with e-commerce features

Europost (2004) was an international subscription service for newspapers and magazines. We built a portal with registration, personal accounts, and card payments.

An international subscription service with e-commerce features

In 2004, we developed the portal for Europost, a Western service delivering newspapers and magazines worldwide.

The project targeted expatriates from the former USSR, offering them access to familiar publications abroad.

Features and highlights

  • 📰 Catalog of newspapers and magazines available for subscription.

  • 👤 User registration with personal accounts.

  • 💰 Balance management — users could top up and pay from their account.

  • 💳 Integration of card payments for online orders.

  • 📦 Subscription process with detailed address and delivery options.

  • ⏳ The portal remained active in this form for about 1–1.5 years.

Why it mattered

Europost was an interesting international commission that combined content delivery with early e-commerce functionality.

Although our version was later replaced under a new name, it represented how services in the early 2000s were beginning to integrate online payments, personal accounts, and subscription management into their business models.
