Security Mail (2004) was a short-lived project: a user portal for a paid encrypted email service using 128-bit encryption and spam protection.
In 2004, we built the user portal for Security Mail, a paid email system that implemented 128-bit encryption for sending and receiving messages.
The portal was designed as a simple entry point for subscribers, with a focus on security and protection from spam.
🔐 User portal for a secure email system.
📩 128-bit encryption for message transmission.
🚫 Built-in spam protection for users.
👥 Limited subscriber base (~50 paying customers).
⏳ Project was discontinued after only a few months.
Security Mail was a niche commission, not a long-term success.
Still, it demonstrated the rising interest in secure online communication in the early 2000s — and gave us hands-on experience building UI for an encrypted email platform.
